"Religion and Philosophy" Debate

First-year students of the Faculty of Theology at Bandırma Onyedi Eylül University came together for a meaningful debate event coordinated by Dr. Elif Özel. Titled "Two Great Encounters on the Source of Wisdom: Religion and Philosophy," the event saw students divided into two groups to discuss their ideas on an academic basis.

One group presented their arguments from the perspective of "Philosophy and Reason," while the other group presented theirs from the perspective of "Revelation and the Heart." Following the presentations, a question-and-answer session provided students with valuable experience in defending different viewpoints and expressing themselves in an academic style.

At the end of the program, Dean Prof. Dr. Abdullah Hikmet Atan gave a concluding speech, highlighting the event's effectiveness. Dean Atan thanked Dr. Elif Özel for the successful organization and the students for their performances, concluding the program.
