NEW BOOK FOR NEW STUDENTS: “BANDIRMALI TATLICI ALİ ÖZTAYLAN EFENDİ”

Prof. Dr. Necdet Tosun's book, Bandırmalı Tatlıcı Ali Öztaylan Efendi, was presented as a gift to the 56 preparatory-year students who joined our faculty this year.
Gifting this significant work—which offers valuable lessons drawn from the exemplary life of Ali Öztaylan Efendi, a renowned spiritual figure of Bandırma known by the nickname "Tatlıcı" (The Confectioner)—to the newest members of our Faculty of Theology family provides an opportunity for these future theologians, who have come to Bandırma from across Türkiye for their higher education, to get to know a distinguished and refined figure of the Islamic tradition whose life serves as a model to emulate.
